Same vehicle replacement for me as well. Worth the extra few pounds.

That's what they advised me too. ALA do an extra package that covers the cost of replacing your car with all of your optional extras (so like for like, new for old) regardless of whether the cost of the car has increased since you purchased.

I chose this as it was only £20 more for this cover and I wasn't sure I could haggle the same deal a second time round if I had to order again.

It's called Vehicle Replacement Plus

It doesn't matter what optional extras you add, they simply look at the total price of your car (before discounts). In the event yours is written off the GAP insurance will cover the difference between your fully comp insurance settlement figure and the cost of replacing it like-for-like. They give examples on their page - suggest you read through it all carefully as i'm not an expert and don't want to give bad advice.
