I am looking to upgrade my hpfp, I have seen a Loba hpfp for £525 delivered, Is any body using this pump? Did want a Apr but cant afford £800 for a fuel pump lol. Did look at an autotech but I have heard they fail. Any suggestions would be great
Is this the Loba HPFP for the 2.0TFSI....If so snap their hand off as thats cheap. Very good and reliable fuel pump. Remember to change the cam follower at the same time as changing the pump regardless of condition or limited use of the old one.
I run good pressure with standard pump in several TFSI
110bar standard - I am 122bar (since March 2013) without problem. Most cars I run 117-120bar without issue, and I hear of some pushing 130bar but I wouldn't do this personally with stock component. But people are doing it.
You can increase power without touching rail pressure (mid RPM), but BWA is a must! Do not want 'lean' engine!
I hear some pumps used to fail (maybe Autotech or KMD), so best option is pressure tested as mentioned above![]()
