Has anyone fitted 19 x 8.5 wheels on there 8P?
A few people have said there are no rubbing issues when running 19 x 8 ET50,

the wheels im wanting to fit are 19 x 8.5 ET45, and im using H&R 25mm springs,
any help much appreciated.
cheers

I'm running 19" 8J wheels but with 235/35/19 tyres on the rear. I tried to fit a Forge 5mm spacer to bring the rear wheel out, and even after changing the rear arch liner screws the car was still rubbing coming off of speed bumps. COnsider tyre in the equation too, if you run 215 or 225 you should get away with it.

Yeh ill be going for 225's if i decide to go ahead and get them :/

I've got 19x8.5 ET48s on with 225/35R19 tyres, and had it spaced 4-5mm at the front and lowered on the same H&R springs. Never had any rubbing issues.

I run 19 x 8.5 ET 44 BBS CK's and had to remove the wheel arch liner screw as it was rubbing alot. Doesnt anymore though unless its a real bad one.

I thought ck.'s only came in 19x8 et44??

I have 19x8.5 with et42 wrapped in 225/35/19 lowered on eibach sport lines which are 45mm rear and 50mm front. Removed the rear arch screws and have no issues with rubbing. I should add that I had a little rubbing before I had my 4 wheel alignment done but now it's sweet!
