19 inch alloys

I currently have a 2008 TDI TT with 18 inch alloys.
I have recently purchased a set of 19 inch A5 alloys that fit perfectly with the right spigot rings, but I have noticed that when I go over a large bump in the road I can hear the tyre rub on the arch somewhere.
I thought 19 inch was acceptable for the TT
Am I wrong? If not how can I stop the tyre rubbing

It's acceptable pending it's the correct offset.

It’s a completely different offset on the A5, will sit slot further out on the tt, you must be about flush with the arches

The noise you can here is the rear bumper tabs scrapping / rubbing the tyres you can remove the rear tabs easily
