Would anyone be interested in a bilstein b12 kit? Been on the car just over a year so good condition. I'm looking at changing to coilovers, I'd be asking for around £380. These are still fitted at the moment, just gathering interest if there is any.

What are the special edition front springs? My b7 seems to sit higher on the front so was thinking about changing the springs on front only

Don’t know if that pic shows it well enough but the rear wheels sit nice but the fronts look like quite a big gap

I cant edit my original post so will repost with new photos. Decided the interior would be more desirable all in black instead of the two tone so that is what I have done :)

Great upgrade. I did the same!

Much softer leather also
Ah this was my for sale post, they were originally two tone so dyed them black to make them easier to sell. I have done the swap in the car already :)

Oh woaw. How did you dye them? Would be good to know for the future. Any products of links much appreciated

I used the black colour kit from furnitureclinic , if you google them you can choose your kit. Comes with everything you need from the leather prep, the alcohol cleaner, the pads for scouring, gloves, mixing pot, aerosol cans, spray gun, dye itself and then the finishes so gloss and matt and you mix it to your desired finish.

All I added to that was a shed load of masking tape, dust sheets and a heat gun to dry it quicker

Very interesting info and great to know. I've done almost everything to a car by now but the leather care/repair always seemed like a black art.

Looks great. Hopefully I don't need use it but def good to know

Now you've done it.. Would you ever consider doing it on your home furniture? I've a Ridgeback and shes making a mess of one of my leather chairs

funnily enough I found furnitureclinic because I wanted to redye my sofa. So simple answer is yes I have done it and works a treat. and the good thing about sofas is less masking as you can do it outside :)

Selling up already?

Probably a bit over priced unless it's a mint example.
Can't really justify being a 3 car household
As lovely as the A4 is to drive and use as a daily its kinda surplus to requirements now which is a shame
If I had a unit I'd keep it and mint it up but sadly it's the monthly cost of a unit that's the kicker

Maybe it is overpriced
But people are welcome to shoot me an offer mate
It's not mint but show me a lower mileage one for sale that's not an import

Probably £6500 , there was a mint one for sale a few months ago on autotrader for £7k and it was mint , didn't sell very quickly though but did eventually.

They are nice cars but age and milage in some cases will be taking their toll now and many become money pits just the same as most B7 are.
