170 PD remaps

Just wondering how much remaps cost if you have the DPF gutted at the same time? Is it like, £400 for remap + £100 ish to have the DPF delete if you do it at the same time, or am I looking at £400 x2 for 2 remaps?

Are there any companys that will gut the DPF for me?

Will I need to put the DPF back in come MOT time, in which case I am better off with a fabricated pipe?

I am considering an 07 170 S Line I have just been waiting for the right spec, xenons etc

Iv just had my DPF removed by durham remaps.

It was £495, they removed the dpf, cut it open gutted it and welded a "baffle" type thing in in case they tap test it on MOT welded it back up and refitted.
They then mapped out the EGR valve to stop it opening
and then either performance stage 1 or economy stage 1 mapped into car.

I have the 2.0 tdi 170 Quattro.... well worth it mate.

transforms the car and prolongs the life.
