i spoke to a dealer yesterday, prices are now out with orders able to be placed at the end of the month. appox. £24.5k for 2.0tdi 150hp S Line.

About the same price as the outgoing Black Edition then with less spec

Entry level model is now SE? Seems expensive way in to the range. Hope they bring out a standard version for my wife's sake.

You need to look at a golf price list. I just ordered a black edition as the equivalent golf GTD was 3k more for the same spec. Golfs are no longer cheap and hence the Audi just gets hiked higher (8v platform) as nobody would drive a golf otherwise.

It does look good there is no doubt about that. However I sit on the inside and its the interior that gets me. Compare a 2012 black edition to the 8v sline interior and for me the 8v looks a bit basic. I also love the old seats.
