I need to set the timing up from scratch on my 1.9TDI PD engine, is anyone able to supply a manual or give some tips? The cylinder head isnt off aswell.

Have you got a timing pin kit for it? I would wind the crank back about quarter to half a turn. Set up the camshaft and lock it then bring the crankshaft around to time it up and lock it up. Then fit the belt.
I dont mate, but I will try pick on up this week. This looks like the damage to the lifers through the camshaft wearing so might need to wait till I need to time it back up
