S3 into A3

Would it be fairly straight forward putting an s3 engine into what is at the moment a 1.6 a3. The only thing i can think would be a problem is the 4wd, so i would need a drifferent gear box. what would be a good gearbox to use? Any info appreciated.

Buy an S3 and pay the insurance as most people do.

I have an s3 already. But i have a spare engine an a spare a3 and i like to keep busy haha

An A3 1.6 with an S3 engine is a bit complicated,never seen one tbh

just use a a3 fwd 1.8t gearbox with flywheel from a fwd will fit straight in all the mounts are the same locations would just need engine gearbox an dogbone mounts an obvs change the engine and interior loom an ecu an immobiliser setup
