just about, right here!
As the title suggests chaps!
I am after service items for my 2005 a4 avant 2.0 tdi s line!
its an annual service, and only covered 7000 miles since last one!
i require all associated items for this, sourced by myself so the indy specialist can carry out the work and stamp my service history for me while keeping costs down!
i will be needing,
OEM fuel filter
OEM oil filter
OEM pollen filter
OEM air filter
oil, quantum preffered

i have tried ebay and europarts but was wondering if any of you lads know of anywhere else worth a browse! or know of any discount codes to enter into europarts as i am such a tightarse!
if i had my way i would be carrying the work out myself but sadly i need the stamp for the service history!
i also insist on genuine or OEM quality components as i feel you only get what you pay for in this area!
also, i like to change every filter annualy even though the service plan dictates otherwise! i.e the fuel filter every 20k! so a little bit of o.c.d. overkill in some areas!
thanks in advance!:beerchug:

Same question, why do you need the stamp?

Personally dont think it makes any difference to value when you trade in, just helps dealer sell it easier as people think because its got FSH its a better car. I would rather service myself, use genuine parts and keep receipts and records. The money you save on not having a dealer do it will probably offset any extra that a dealer may possibly give you when you trade, but as i said i doubt it makes any difference to value where a trader is concerned when he's buying it in.

My thoughts exactly. I did all servicing myself from when the car was 3 years old, and I GUARANTEE its been done better than any dealer. Just keep the receipts and write in the service book when it's been done.

I would be interested in this same thing as my service is due, if you find somewhere reasonable and trustworthy let me know!!

No place cheaper for OEM parts than TPS (I should know, used to work there!). But you have to go there, and they are trade only really, but you may be able to get the parts if you try.

Not really true mate, every time I've rung there for parts, they are identical in price to the main dealer which I queried, their answer "I don't know why that is".
A genuine service kit from the dealer is not much. Except the diesel filter, which is around £60.

I just bought a few genuine audi parts from TPS on teesside today and they only charged me £25.13 inc VAT for a fuel filter, pollen filter and oil filter. Lot cheaper than main dealer in my opinion. Might be worth a call/online request.

It depends on which TPS you go to. Some give a better discount than others.

I got my timing belt kit, water pump, a full service kit (plugs, oil, all filters) and a new DV for about £250 if I recall. Very cheap!

well managed to get a very reasonable price for the service parts required!
all the items i needed minus the fuel filter as this was replaced less than 7000 miles ago so i feel its ok!
OEM oil filter, air filter and pollen filters plus a bottle of quantum longlife oil for £42.69
these were from TPS at teeside!
happy days!
plus £40 for my local garage to do the work and keeping my service history stamped and up to date!
so all in £82.69 for a full service with a stamped book!

What do you think guys

This is a price quote from TPS

Oil Filter £3.16
Air Filter £9.31
Fuel Filter £15.06
Pollen Filter £7.41
Timing Belt Kit £102.06
Water Pump £33.34 ( there is also a £50 surcharge on this pump but is refundable on return of your old one)
G12 Special Coolant (1.5 litre bottle) 2 x required £4.70 each

Is this the real price of a diesel fuel filter, would have thought they were more expensive
