I think these vents look fantastic in the S3 bumper

Im just wondering where I would find some? Thank You

Venom motorsport sell them, their rs4 vents mate.

Not sure just found it on about page 12 of the a3 pics, thanks for the info mate found them, thinking of splashing out on some!

They do look good. £50 for a pair on venommotorsport. I'd be tempted too but it's difficult to quantify the ball ache of cutting gluing, re-spraying. Has anyone got experience of this mod and provide an idea of potential cost, pitfalls etc...?

I'm quite happy with my front end with the lcr splitter, fmic and black grills...but the vents would make a nice subtle addition at the right cost/benefit.

Well I have ordered some and Im a painted at an Audi approved bodyshop so shouldnt be too bad for installing them.

Will take a few pics and let you know if you want when I do install them, I ordered a LCR splitter today also, so will be removing the bumper to fit that so will do the vents at the same time

Sounds good. Would love to see it. Checking the specs they mention that the vents don't fit the s3 bumper. Be good to see if they do! Cheers

Im going to get a set but no point until after the new year as the cars not getting sprayed until march, be interseying yo see how you get on mate, ill be keeping a eye on this thread.

That makes two of us.

Cost benefit for me as I'd have to pay for the install and respray of the bumper. I'm tempted to get a quote now!

Has anyone progressed these vents yet on the s3 standard bumper?

I'm interested in this one too. Dougie was meant to be installing. Hopefully he'll come back to us having read this.

I've never been to keen on these vents but then don't look too bad in that picture you posted up. The car has to look right first with wheels and definitely a drop or else it will just look like a bumper with vents if you know what i mean?

These have been done before. I think they would look best on colours apart from black as I don't think you'd see them on black.

Just noticed that there are some better pics of this car on page 9 of the pics thread. There's a closer pic of the bumper and the vents do look a bit rubbish! they would look better if they were smoothed into the bumper

The curve of the vent isn't the same as the curve on the bumper either which makes them look aftermarket...

Would it be possible to cut out and glue it from the back then fill it and smooth over the join, mind you the cuts would need to be bang on like. .

it does look like that one Hoggy.

i'm busy trying to figure out if he has custom red interior in that car or if it is a trick of the light

I remember it's an A3 so chances are it is that bumper, it definatly look great in red though! Well impressed with chris's car shame I ended up in a scrappy!
