So here is the fitting guide for fitting the EM Tuning VAG Panel led bulbs.

**PLEASE DISCONNECT THE BULB WHEN CHANGING TO AVOID GIVING YOURSELF AN ELECTRIC SHOCK OR BLOWING THE FUSE**

1. Get the panels out of your car and strip it down and remove the old bulb.

2. Then put a screw driver in from either of the gap and push the clips up slightly to give you room for step 3.

3. Slide the bulb in making sure the wires are not in the way when pushing as they are fragile.

4. Connect the bulb in and test before tidying wires up and putting the bulb back together.

The wires will connect up this way:

if you have any other questions then please ask.

How do you stop the led board from shorting on the back metal assembly?

Thanks, used some clear plastic strips in the end.

Just finished all the door cards.Never realised you got 4 red and 4 white thought they were all white leds, was easy enough as the red one is the simpler one.
Front foot lights seem to glowing purple even in day light, will check at night time about 4 pm lol to see what they look like then.

Yeah the footwell lights, they do have a purple tinge to the not a pure white as the other leds.

Can i just add on how i did the lenses.
When i was at the car i noted which one was the earth (sole brown wire) and marked the casing as such.
Then when removed i removed that side of the bulb holder they come out very easy, made putting the 4 led board in a right doddle, after sealing the rear with tape to prevent any shorting out.

Mine was the opposite way for the glovebox A3 8P, all sorted now.

As was my A4 B7, just doing my install now of the interior LED's, then the exterior bulbs tomorrow or this afternoon if weather holds.

They do look better, even with the day light, may need some sun glasses when getting in the car now ;) 8)

So the led conversion for map lights (if that's what you call lights above rear mirror) isn't a straight swap out?

I assumed would be a bulb of sorts with the LEDs within it on a heat sink?

Pic of tape on board.. Not rocket science but here it is:

I cut up an old butter container for my insulating strips, nice bit of thicker plastic seems a better insulator than a strip of tape. The butter was Lurpak, although other butters are available.
I can sell you a spare one if you like, but only one available each week :)

By the way my led light kit was fitted about 2 years ago and not a single failure. Thanks Mr t8ups
