Brakes aren't ready yet numpty! Custom carriers for the R8s to fit the S3s hub are waiting to be made!

Great car, grea jobs.. Except since I'm supporting GALATASARAY Football team which has yellow & red colors :D, yellow brakes would be my first choice.. Just my 0.25 cents here .

I've just ordered some 225/35/19 Goodyear Eagle F1's Asy's (£164.70 each from Camskill.co.uk), so they should arrive around the same time as the wheelies from N8! Can't wait to get them on now. :wub: xx

I just have to get around to putting in my 42DD cc in .. been lazy! Loving the updates mate.. I think im done for a while now! Wouldnt mind a different set of wheels but.

Aww come on Pierre, don't talk rubbish, ..the modding is NEVER finished, lol! :laugh: Your CK's are exactly the same as the ones on my last car and they are simply gorgeous wheels, ..surely you wouldn't want to part with them?? They show off your 996T's perfectly too, lol. I wish I had just bought anthracite 19's in the first place, but went for 18's thinking about the ride comfort and of course 18's only come in silver, which had to be changed. Now go and get your catch can fitted and don't be so bl**dy lazy, lol! :wub: xxx
 
Those reworked MTM's do look tasty Paulie. Should look damn fine on.
 
Collection is going to be friday now Paula sorry, he can't book it now today and theres another stuff I'm waiting on as well, so its not just you whos been let down :sorry:

Aww no worries Hunny :wub: I am just so delighted with the fantastic job you've done on them. I can surely wait a few more days to get my sticky little mitts on them, lol. I'll have them on the car soon enough and I know they are MORE Than well worth waiting for. :wub: xx

Cheers Sean :thumbsup:. Tyre Devotion are a mobile tyre fitting service, but their office is in Alford, I think. I'll just get them to come to the house to fit the tyres/wheels. They fitted my CK's for me last year and they were absolutely spot on. They even clean the wheels up after fitting and put what looks like sealant/rim wax on them. The lads are very professional and I highly recommend them. The reason I will get them to come to me is that I have a spinal injury and can't lift wheels and tyres in and out of the car. If you are looking to take your car somewhere for tyre fitting, I've heard that Sillets (41 Holland St, Aberdeen) are pretty good too. :wub: xx

Seems like i have not been on here for years! Your car looks awesome and come a long way since I sold you them vents, those vents are still your best mod! :)

Hey Lee, those vents you sold me were the bargain of the century! I agree with you totally, love them to bits. The good thing is, unlike most of my mods on the outside of the car, I get to see the very best one every time I get behind the wheel. Thanks again Dude, good to hear from ya! :wub: xx

It never ends, you're right ... I wanted another set of DPE's but DPE a bunch of you know what. Ahh well!

The CK's are nice, but the MTM's are also very nice! 19s would of been a wiser choice yes .. hahaha! Only thing for me is a big detail coming up but i am putting it off, going well too.. 4 months ive put it off and going strong. lol

Thanks N8, I need to sort my suspension out first, but after that I think the interior needs a bit of a re-jig, so who knows, it might be on the cards. Had a look at them though, they DO look the danglies! :wub: xx

:laugh: I'm a Hip Hop & RnB man, you can't really tell the difference in the pic bar the thumb grip, but when you drive with the wheel, its so much chunkier!
 
That's well tasty, N8! I can see the difference straight away, obviously chunkier than the S3 wheel and it could well be something I'd be interested in getting after my suspension and brakes are done. Very nice! Thanks for posting your piccy and thanks also for getting my MTM's back to me safely. I can't wait to have a look at them. You ARE a star!! :wub: xx
 
Rs6 wheel doesn't have a chrome rim! That said, it is very nice.

I think only the 2011 onwards wheels have the chrome trim on the airbag cover, Warren. I bet N8's got the newer airbag cover on his wheel by now, lol. Does look stunning! :wub: xx
