I've got a lot of parts just waiting to be fitted. Need to finishing gathering, radpack, intercooler and fwd gearbox.
Had a nightmare getting a brand new optic S3 grille. Audi said they wouldnt be able to get me one for 3-6weeks!!! Finally got one thanks for a member on here "JimmyJames", you are a life saver mate
Went out of his way for me. So i owe you big time for this :thumbsup: Few photos will be uploaded once its back this week. But here a photo for now

That is some low static! You'll do well to get the front down that far to get it sitting level!
Thats why a chassis notch is needed. Front sits quite low with the helper springs removed but not low enough.
With a notch it will be perfect and stop my driveshaft from taking a beating every now and then.
Yeah fella, RS6 grille wasnt a problem to get. Just the S3 one was proving quite difficult. Had a call off the garage to say the front bumper and grilles are all done. I can collect it tomorrow. Still waiting on a foglight grille but should be here tomorrow.

how do you covert the s3 grill over to a mess face? i have a spare BE grill so i wouldn't mind converting it.

Hi mate,
You would be best just buying an RS3 grille. There one on ebay RS3 8P front center grille chrome + black color for RS3 A3 S3 Audi style Europe | eBay
But yes to make the honeycomb grille you need your current grille and then a RS4/RS6/TTRS/RS5 grille what ever grille you want to use. But personally if i had an 8P3 id just buy the RS3 grille.

Will that clear with just the arch screw mod? Been playing with the lows on mine today and it seems to clear ok with a 8.5" 215/40/18 ET 45, but that tab that used to hold the screw looks mighty close!
Seems to be fine. It rubbed with some fat chick in the back (not my misses may i add, some girl i was meeting her friend). But the last time i drove it i had two of my mates with me and it didnt rub at all with him in the back. Rear wheel arches are getting rolled just to be on the safe side and -2 camber maybe a bit more not sure yet. Going to see how it gets on with -2.
And the tab already been smoothed out so that will help but if i do have any issues i'll get them sorted. I do want wider arches so this could make me do it quicker.

So at least he was honest. Most likely taking it to Low Standards in Staffordshire a week saturday to get done. Really cant be ***** driving an 5 hour round trip:| But has to be done.
S3 skirts never got fitted so be back at my mates garage to do that but now going to wait till i have enough money to widen the arches. Do you think 25mm on the front arches will be that noticeable? This is how it currently sits. Need four wheel alignment but proving quite difficult to find any one down here who will do it

just need to get a few things sorted. Cheers John.Hmm i've never done it or a weld and i dont have the tools or the space lol so will give it a miss. I might of found a guy only 20minutes minutes away in the next city that done a friends mk5 gti for £120. So hopefully he can do it for me.
he has always banged on about it being expensive but so will archwork
I'm eyeing up a damaged 2008 A3 s-line SB so if i get that i plan on doing the facelift and air. And i do want a SB so would rather facelift that. The 3door wont be going any where though. Depends if the guy comes back and accepts my offer. Plus arch work should cost much going to my mates garage.Thanls Tim, some be up on the weekend. Got three local shows saturday and sunday so hopefully some one will take some decent photos there
