1 DIN (‘Concert’) to 2 DIN conversion

Hi. Just joined so apologies for any ****-ups!

Help required please....

I want to upgrade to a new 2 DIN stereo in my 2004 S4 B6 Cab. I currently have the original 1 DIN (Audi Concert) system with BOSE.

I’m happy to do all the heater unit repositioning, new cage etc., but I’m struggling with which leads, cables, antennas etc, I’ll need to do actually wire it in. I keep reading about Fakra, Quadlock etc.etc??!!

I’ve never done this before, so I need an idiots guide to what I need.

Are they both Bose systems, because the Bose system has additional wiring and would be a headache to change.
You could try the ICE section in the forum.
