1.8t conversion k-line

Hi everyone been along time since I've been on here lol, I've just done a conversion on a transit connect but having problems with communicating with the ECU, it's a aum engine with me7.5 ECU, Kline is going to pin 43, I've checked the voltage on the k line and its reading 11v is that right? Disconnect the ECU plug and no power there at all in the kline so nothing is crossing over on it further down the line. ECU has immo removed could they of done something to hacker the Kline?
