Hello,
Recently i have changed engine(ARX) oil for my audi, was using 5w40. During the maintenance car wasnt driven for about 2 weeks. After all I noticed rattling sound on the top of the engine(head cover) and huge vibration where chain is located. Rattling sound starts when car warms up and it stops only when revs are higher than idle.
So my question: how this tensioner is working? Should i replace it immidiately or just drive like usually and let oil to lubricate it?

Any faults showing up on a diagnostic? Personally would not drive it sounds like a worn chain.

Check engine light shows up, tommorow will try to scan. Also i took off head cover, chain was pretty tight, nothing unusual.

Unable to scan, p01314 fault. Connected to all control units except ecu.
Tensioner works with oil pressure. What oil and grade did you use. I would fit an oil pressure gauge and see what that shows. How many miles has the car done?
Used 5w40 a3/b4 with vw 502/505.
About 230k km/ 125k miles.
