I return with more boost woes....
I had some bother with this earlier in the year.
Generally performance is better now than it was before some loose pipes were reconnected earlier in the year ,but I’m still getting variable boost which has gradually become more noticeable over the past few months.
Sometimes, I’m getting the excellent strong 1.8t signature boost and around 30mpg on a spirited drive, other times boost is so-so and the MPG drops to mid/ low 20’s....
It’s difficult to pick a consistent behaviour.
Sometimes it’s spot on and picks up strong boost from start up, other times virtually none, other times just feels like it’s only slightly boosting.
Generally as before, getting best performance on BP Ultimate but not nearly as bad as earlier in the year when MPG and performance on V Power was awful.
QuattroCalum suggested the PC valve.
Anyone had any symptoms similar? How do I tell if the PC Valve is failing? Any other ideas where to look?
