My 2014 1.3 TFSI Sportback has 60 000 Kms on the clock. On cold start up or if it has been standing for a few hours there is an initial rattle which I was told is hydraulic lifters but sometimes after that subsides I hear a ticking or rattling noise for a few seconds (10-15), it seems to go away and it is not every time.If i put the transmission in neutral the cadence of the sound appears to follow revving of the engine but is most prevalent at idle.
Any ideas?
