'01 A6 Avant 7 seat conversion

Hi guys, a good friend of mine has just had his third kid and with granny and grandad in tow can't fit them in his audi A6. Other than buying an e class Merc what are his option regarding a conversion or a new audi. He doesn't want a MPV!

A friend of mine bought a seven seater to accommodate his parents and the kids and the extra seats were used about 3 times in 2 years. They've since got rid of it and are driving a BMW 5 series now.

Plus, if there were already four in the car, how would granny and grandad have fit in before baby number 3? Just a thought!

We have three kids in the back of ours no problem, and granny and grandad can follow in their car!

I get three across the back of my A4 so an A6 should be easier
two recaro seats, one young sport and one other breed of recaro and the third is a standard cheapo booster seat.

bit of an art and the belt for my son in the booster is clipped in and the boost then slid back into place, but they fit OK

The Recaros are quite slim compared to other seats IIRC
