0-60... 170 tdi

Just curious... is the a3 170 tdi really 0-60 8 secs. It seems alot quicker off the mark? Or is this just how it feels?

When the A3 8P 170 bhp was launched, a couple of car magazine reviews made the point about the impressive torque of 350 Nm (at 1750-2500 RPM). At the time this torque was more than the BMW 330i, Ford Focus ST, Merc SL350, Porsche Cayman S and Subaru Imprezza WRX all of which it would give a fright to (because of the torque/RPM) between 30-70 mph
