Got them to price match with Louth VW centre.

Normally £410.
Lincoln Audi £449 incl WP.
Local Skoda dealer £290 incl VAT and WP.

57 plate 2.0 TDI.

Cambelt for my S3 56 Plate is £550 from Audi in Wakefield!!

Oh and i forgot to mention that's including a water pump and tax.

Amazing price for a main dealer.

My local main dealer wanted £500 for cambelt and water pump change. Got it done at a VW specialist using OEM parts for £310 in the end.

I would definately look at an Indy too. Mainly because my local Audi dealer employs knuckle dragging monkeys!

Skoda looks a good price though.

well done thats amasing all in handy to know i need mine in 9k lol

Good price, but I'd still replace my belt with an elastic band before I went to an Audi Stealership. Last time I went in for a £99 service I ended up paying closer to £400 as they ****** up my sump plug and claimed it wasnt their fault! Never again, they can stick their £120 an hour labour rate.

Paul,

Have you tried F Cross VW in Grimsby? I've always used them for service on my Seat's and VW's and they've always been cheaper, gave me a courtesy car and top notch customer service.
By the way, I'm from Grimsby :) do you have any mods to your car?

No mods, bog standard. Normally i use Louth VW who are excellent and have a great reputation. However, my Audi is under warranty and the window switch needs fixing, hence Cleethorpes Audi can do both jobs. I dont really rate Cleethorpes Audi, but for warranty work i have to go there. Anyway, surely even they can manage a cam belt change..............

If you dont ask, you dont get. I reckon now is a good time to get jobs done as most people will have one eye on xmas and leave any big jobs until the new year. Mechanics sat idle=good opportunity to negotiate.

So the max you shoukd be paying from any Audi dealer is £399 for a cambelt change plus £30-£50 extra for the waterpump.....

If you can get it for less, great, but certainly no more as that's the "fixed" price advertised on the audi uk web site...

I've been down to Audi today and it's definitely right. Got my service all booked in and booking my cambelt in for the new year.
