have com across an ex-demo which 6 months old. its a 1.8 tfsi 3 door.
it spec is;

BE in ibis white
phone prep
bose
reverse sensors
rear tints
new rotary wheels
mileage: 3600

do you think this is good price?

i'm interested, as my SB is out of warranty, so have been thinking of changing but also aware of the new A3 coming along soon

Appreciate the warranty situation, but you don't fancy a 2.0T?

i really like the 1.8. its got good delivery through the range, although i have thought about a remap, once i have the key'ed door painted. then this BE has come up. the 2.0t is a great drive but puts my insurance up, hence the re-map.

i don't think this BE will be around for long so, have to decide soon before it goes

At least it's a 3dr and in Ibis!! Surley you can remap the 1.8 to over 200bph?

yep had a 3 door in ibis about 3 years ago when the 8P3 was released, but moved it on too quickly. i had a look into remaps and get an average of 215hp, which i've makes a the biggest difference in the A3 remap range.

Not sure what to do as i know I'll have to act quick..

a black edition 1.8t new is worth around 24-25k.
that car is worth the money all day long.
see if the stealer can shave off £500 extra or a little more.
i have the same engine in a sport trim and its power delivery is
good.

dealer has emailed me, saying they have sold the BE subject to the customer getting finance.
shame but has made me think maybe time to change

yep have done so already. was looking to view the BE this week but someone got there before me. I'll see what happens..

its defo gone dealer emailed me today. lesson to be learned, don't hang around when a good opportunity comes along.
