    Alloy wheels and winter tyres question

    Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum, I have a question about my A3 Sportback 2009 I'm currently on 17" alloys and I'm wondering if I should go to 16" for winter tyres or just get them for the same 17" tyres? If going to 16" I'm not sure if only the 5x112 size is important? How important is ET...

    Heating blows COLD ONLY, engine temp etc all normal... Help!

    Hi all, I have a 2.5 TDI V6 A4 Estate and the heating blows only cold air out! The engine warms up to 90 within 10 mins or so, does not over heat and runs like a dream. Garage has checked over the radiator etc and no issues there and they reckon it could be that the thermostat is stuck open...

    Winter/ Snow Tyres for S3 8v Fl

    Wheels S3 Sportsback 8V for the winter

    Hi. I was wondering if I can fit a pair of wheels with the following specifications on my S3. 225/50/17 R17 7.0J x 17 ET42 I have read that the recommendations are: 205/50R17, 225/45R17. Will 5 mm differ that much? I'm asking since I can get them for a very fair price.
