Place that did mine removed the DPF and refitted once welded back up. They mapped the egr closed and they also did a performance map.
defo worth doing.
you should see an increase in power of around 30-45bhp and car will accelerate a lot better.
You will possible get the "turbo howling" noise too.
Only downside is that the clutch cant seem to hold the power, it seems to slip (when giving it some whack anyway)
I think I have a possible boost leak...
Normally id just stick a boost gauge on and watch it but I don't wana start cutting pipe, so im wondering if you can view live realtime figures in VCDS such as boost and RPM?
goods mods nice car too. Only thing im not to keen on is the grille, which is strange because I like the no plate look.
think it reminds me to much of that car insurance advert with the badly debadged audi!
The wheels have grown on me to be fair, love them. They are 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 tires are 235-35-19. Backs fit perfect for me, the front could do with 15mm spacers I think.
Front can be lowered as on coilovers, rear is a low as it can so far unless I get shorter springs.
Offsets are Front ET45...
It was about time and I was finally persuaded to part with some of my hard earned wages, so here it is, Inspiri CRS4's 19 inches 8.5 x 9.5
You either hate it or love it, I'm undecided!
Iv had mine DPF deleted and mapped by a place called Durham Remaps.
Mines a 170 tdi 2L Quattro.
Only issue I have is the handling the torque... this will all be sorted when get performance clutch.
Car had injector recall at 79k and its on 115k now and still runs great. Iv had the map done and...
^^ Great help there mate.
ITs not just me being blonde.. but you obv need the roof bars and then the actual cycle carrier?
DOes any carrier fit the OEM audi bars?
thanks guys, ill defo look around like as im in need.
was at bike shop and lad offered me some big what look like glass suction cups.. but are actually designed to hold the bike, im rather temped mas it takes 3 pumps of the handle and its stuck!
£250 quid for a suction pad though haha
Right guys, Iv been into my bikes for a while now... I used to do a lot of trial biking but then got into downhill biking. Basically gave up when I got my car haha.
Iv just built my bike back up and iv recently just got myself another new toy.. Im in need of a bike rack.
I was after a boot...
Well this came off pretty easy when I pulled the tape, and it snapped back in easy enough, just had to lift the rubber over it.
im not sure about the bits over the door, but I imagine the ones in the actual door are like this
don't know if anyone knew...
I managed to do this other night, just by accident mind... happened while I was peeling the old tape off!. I haven't dared try the rest yuet but I imagine they are fitted like this.
