    TFSi Intake Manifold Flap 06F 133 482 - What's it do ???

Well checking the car while hot yesterday, the intake flap arm driven by the motor wiggles when you take the keys out of the ignition. When the engine is running the arm pushes the flap in a similar fashion to how you would expect the main throttle butterfly to work i.e more throttle = more...

    Anyone got a Bluefin 2.0TFSI?

No, I'm probably going to get Rick @ Unicorn to have a go, as I now have the facility to squirt in the maps and the Bluefin figures seem a touch low compared to others. Just getting christmas out the way first.

    TFSi Intake Manifold Flap 06F 133 482 - What's it do ???

Just clocked 90K and the Throttle Body was quite clean. A few squirts of carb cleaner and a wipe and it was as good as new. Also took cam/rocker cover off and the cams and surrounding area were remarkably clean considering mileage. No wear on cams either.

    TFSi Intake Manifold Flap 06F 133 482 - What's it do ???

Took the Throttle body/motor off today to give it a clean out and noticed another motor unit towards the rear of the intake manifold. This has the P/N 06F 133 482 and appears to be called a 'Intake Manifold Flap'. Can anybody explain what this does, when it operates and what the symptons are...

Missfire Diagnosis - Running out of options HELP......

Well changed the Thermostat on Friday, took about 1Hr 30Mins from start to topping the coolant back up. A bit fiddly with those damn hose clips and the location of it, but the tip it to try not to take the hose clips off over the hose but go the otherway and just let them hang on the hard pipe...

Headlight DeChrome - Anyone done it.

Was looking at the HID's on my B7 and wondered if anyone in the world of Audi has de-tangoed and de-chromed. I done the modification on my last Subaru, and thought could maybe do something similar on the Audi. This is what was done on the Scooby, showing before and after :

Missfire Diagnosis - Running out of options HELP......

Yeh torque pro, and it seems to pretty much match the car's gauge except then torque reads 82-85 the car gauge is about the thickness of the needle below 90. Apparently normal operating temp is around 87 DegC which reads 90 on the car gauge. Sounds like we may have the same issue as you can...

Missfire Diagnosis - Running out of options HELP......

Just been out for another drive over lunch to see the effects of hot/cold running. All the time I was logging coolant temperatures via OBD (Torque Pro). Normal driving and it's sitting around 68-71 DegC and the missfire is quite easy to reproduce at light throttle 2000rpm. Easiest done on a...

    What's the standard boost on a 2.0TFSi

OK, from measurements I have taken the car's reading approx 11psi (0.75bar) peak dropping to 6psi (0.4bar). The peak at 11psi comes in very early and soon tails off.
