Heated mirrors were optional on the 2008 S Line, at least they were on my 57 plate one. I didn't order them - assumed they'd be standard!! But swapping the mirror glasses for the ones with heating elements was a straightforward swap and they worked with no other mods.
My 57 reg' 2.0T S-Line went through it's front tyres (continental) in a similar mileage to your Mum's; at the time I though it was poor :faint:
The replacement Goodyears have lasted better, but they too will need replacing (front) soon and have only done 11k miles. Just a function of the 18"...
I think that's just the 'S-Line Exterior Pack' which, somehat bizarrely, is optional on the S-Line - an additional £750 IIRC.
You need to spec the 'S-Line' trim level to get the free S-Line exterior pack; don't do this on the 2.0T though as the S-Line SE is cheaper than an S-Line to start...
S-Line spec is already slightly discounted (and comes with a load more equipment) with the S-Line SE model launched at the end of last year.
I'd think the most likely next 'discount' route for Audi would be to add the DVD Sat Nav for £500, as for the B7 Avant and Saloon
Just my thoughts...
I'd agree - start with an on-line quote from a broker. We got 10.3% off my A4 Cab and 11.1% off the A3, both bought through brokers but sourced and delivered from main dealers

I do like the idea of a red roof, but wasn't brave (!) enough to actually order it :) S-Line spec limits you to black leather, and I assume the SE version is similarly restricted. I think that's a shame; I'd have quite liked red seats (though not in conjunction with a red roof :faint:)

A quick update: A3 will be delievered on Monday 17th - bang on the mid December estimated delivery date :racer:
And more good news - after hearing absolutely nothing on the A4 for months I got a call from the broker on Thursday last week saying the car was at the dealers :jump: Talk about...
Good news Tim - you'd think the sooner LEX let you have it the sooner they can start charging, so shouldn't be any issue registering ASAP hopefully!! Must chase mine tomorrow :-)

No Tim, nothing on the Cab at all... Did speak to the dealer (which is different broker and dealer to the one cab is coming from) about the A3 though, who confirmed it has now been built :applaus: Should still be on track for mid December apparently, but they'll give me an exact date by the end...
Hello - interesting thread for me, as I ordered an A4 Cab 2.0t S-Line in September - no complicated options; Quartz Grey, light pack, heated seats and auto dimming RVM - but I have still not had a delivery date.
On the other hand we then ordered an A3 Special Edition for my partner; this was...
