Yeah was the same after i drove a TTRS, made the TTS seem alot less fun.
However i cant really afford the stretch to an RS and that 2.5l isnt going to be cheap to run.
I think ill stick with the TTS and just get its remapped to 310bhp and also have the a new forge dump valve.
My only dilemma...
Well after having my B7 A4 for four years last month i finally sold it!
I put it on ebay and sold it within a week, i was offered £7000 by an audi dealer and i sold it privately for £11,000!
Just abit of a difference.
Next on the list for me is an AUDI TTS or TTRS
Yeah 1st gear is way too short, i had mine remapped and its pushing around 270bhp with almost 600nm of torque!
Also lowered an extra 10mm and fit the RS4 anti roll bar aswell as uprated drilled discs and braided brake lines.
Love it, although i have a manul box and too be honest it gets tiring...
Pretty good, although does not beat my ebay bargain of 4 x vredestein ultra sessantas with 7mm tread and in perfect condition for £240 cash!
I ripped the guys arms and legs off for those!
Anyone know much about batteries, because i certainly don't.
I am looking at replacing my standard Audi battery with something better as its showing as low and its about 6 years old now.
I want something more reliable and more powerful if possible, anyone know what i need or where i can buy it...
Think i have figured out the problem.
I basically mixed up the power adapters for the camera dvr and speed camera detector.
So the camera overloaded and blew and the speed detector does not draw enough power to boot up, a quick change of the cables and the speed camera detector now works fine...
Hi, well i have checked the fuse and its fine and i have tested using my iphone and charger, again all seems fine.
I bought a battery/alternator tester to check the current and to see if any of these could be the culprit.
In my car i have both an in car camera and GPS camera Detector.
I just plugged them both into the lighter socket as i normally do and my camera just popped (sparks flew out of it and it started to smoke)
I unplugged everything and just tested the camera on its on in the socket, it keeps...
Yes i remember it being a bit of a pain to level them.
Additional pipes were used to weld between the back box and the exhaust tip, these were about 4 or 5" in length.
These were also used to move the pipes into position and level them from the back, so that they both appear level and dont...
What? if it is done correctly then yes it is suitable, hence the photo of my tips, you are not going to weld on exhuast tips (especially straight) without melting straight pieces of pipe to the original back boxes.
I took my 3.0 tdi down to my local about 3 years ago.
They gave me two stainless steel tips, cut the original pipes off and welded the new tips on for £100.00
Look much better than standard, i had them sticking out slightly so the diesel soot does not end up all over my bumper!
Let me get this straight, the clown bought part worn tyres with hardly any tread on? so how are they part worn, they are more like completely worn/illegal tyres and in this case it serves him right.
I have bought part worn tyres, but were talking 6-7mm tread (almost new), nothing wrong with...
Just say what you really feel! lol
Personally i think it looks great, but will be embarrassing when any show of real power is required!
With the amount of money you have probably spent, you could have bought a real S4 B7!
I have had mine remapped for years, yes it judders and vibrates at hard acceleration.
But this is only if your in a high gear, drop it down and it's fine.
Great, i regularly visist notts.
Must be something we could make to stop them getting the screen out.
As shown in that post, adapting a steering lock could work
Ebay mate.
Found some guy who had done about 1000 miles on them then changed his alloys for 19's.
So made an offer and collected them yesterday, saved me about £200.00 from new!
