Yes, I will be buying a Quattro 'Tiptronic' auto.

So I'm looking to go Auto on my next car, and fancy a 2.0T Quattro Tiptronic. What are they like to live with? And has anyone run one of these with a remap - how does it handle the torque? And finally, do they all come with flappy paddles? thank you!

I was told this always happens with the 2.0T engine, however not on others.

As title really, I'm looking to upgrade my knob and gaiter and would be interested to see what other people have got - or upgraded to. I like the stitching detail I have seen on the DTM and Beetle Sport ones? I also like the OEM look. No lights!

The garage who serviced the car reset the Revo. They also happen to be the Local Revo installer, and know there stuff. When I disconnected the battery is put the Revo into a very slow setting. It may have even been one of the setting pre-programmed with the switch I've got. Not sure why this...

Changed the battery which made no difference, however the car was serviced last week and they fixed it by resetting the Revo remap. So, all good again! ; )

Well today it seemed to improve - but as I only do 8-miles a day this could take a while!

Ah, new battery or should I just keep driving for a while? The car is so slow, it's in like 'safe' mode!

To be honest, I would base all your figures on 28-30mpg. The TFSI engine isn't the most fuel efficient, especially when you factor in the quattro system!

They should be the same size all round really. I'm sure some people mix them, however the manufacturer would certainly advise you stick to 235 40 18 for all tyres. Some people fit 225 40 18, however I've not seen 245's fitted. I suspect they probably look and work fine, however if it were me I...

And heres my old B6 A4 which had standard 18'' alloys with an offset of ET43. And... Just for fun here's my old TT which I went 'wide' on.. ; )

Audi OEM S4 18 Avus alloys have an offset of ET45 - and they don't look bad! Food for thought! I would say ET 40 would look great, 35 can look at little chav - but thats just my opinion.

Illuminated Audi emblems is right up there with illuminated gear knobs, Fox Racing alloys and dashboard shine spray. Classy!

I had the same issue, so bought an SE. Followed by a lot of second hand bits off ebay and have built it up into an SE with some S-line parts. I've not badged my car as an S-Line as it isn't - however I prefered the S-Line parts and fitted them. Happy days! It worked out much cheaper too...
