    How much more power do you want, do you want to keep a fairly good MPG or do you just want power or both? I gor my K04 from Kinetic and they were very quick and easy to deal with. Very reasonable think inc dutys etc it was £450

    Anyone tried one of these valves?

    I had one just to see if they have the ronseal approval, but when coming of throttle it sounded like i had a duck under the bonnet and i did not notice any improvements what so ever, and even so i think they will work better on much older carbed cars if any at all.

    I used to have a milltek but they are like 400 quid, i would just get a bypass pipe and take it off for MOT etc, unless you can find one second hand cheap but i recon they would be very hard to get hold of.

    I have those pipes on their way ;) I was thinking of getting somthing like this to help in connecting the IC to the hoses.

    Isn't the FSI Quattro a 2.0T 200bhp anyway so it would feel stronger and quicker than your mates 1.8T even though he has 225. As its a newer engine it would be difficult to compare.

    As far as i know the S3s LCRs have forged low comp pistons etc, and larger injectors and poss some other bits.
