I live in Cork and have seen your car around a few times - looks great, really stands out!
You've put a huge amount of effort into it - you must be delighted with it.
Jealous!
Car looks great, fair dues to ya. Well worth having to wash again after getting those pics.
Your buddy is pretty handy with the SLR by the looks of it! Especially love the 3rd pic.
Thanks for the replies - much appreciated! Ya they are pretty rank alright now that I've sobered up today lol.
This is my problem...been through this thread so many times and while the bbs are ok I'm not mad about them. Don't like the vw helios at all. The selection over here (Ireland) is not...
Can I ask peeps opinion on these rimz please.....too much?? Wasn't massively gone on them at the time but for some reason I keep looking back to the pic :uhm:
I'm having the biggest dilemma of my life on what rimz to choose.....you would think my life depended on the decision with the amount of...
Thanks Martay for all of your help, very much appreciated. Maybe the mods might make your links a sticky for future help? Now to get that useless man of mine to get me some wheels :rockwoot:
Hi folks....hoping this is the right place to ask this question rather than posting up another thread.
I have looked through the forum but can't see the exact answer I'm looking for.
I want to replace my standard S3 8P (07) alloys, can anyone tell me what size they came in please? All i know...
Another nice cheap way is to hide the swirl marks. Some wax products have "fillers" in them. After washing your car in the normal way just apply this wax in the normal way and it just cover over the swirl marks. However as soon as the wax is washed off you'll be back to square 1 :( hope this is...
TBH, a da will do quite little to your car, as your paint type is hard and a da has only a light cutting action (hardly noticable). Yes it can remove very light swirl marks but thats about it. Prep is the major factor which i'm sure you know but the next major influence is the pad/polish combo...

PING!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was the sound of the elastic on my knickers disintegrating and flying across the room after seeing those pictures and reading your spec.
It's just simply stunningly beautiful........congratulations (I'm a bit late with this-sorry!) and I hope it brings you much happiness...
Not sure exactly what tint i have on the rear three (medium I think....not limo black anyway) but it looks great-love it, nothing on front windows.
Go for it!
Wowser!
 the LED lights!!
Vortex kit looks brilliant & what a bargain getting the parts sprayed and fitted for £500!
Well done, car looks great, you must be chuffed
If you are gonna be doing alot of miles I'd consider a diesel to be honest....maybe not what you want to hear! Just sold my 2006 1.6 petrol and with a 2006 you'd wanna be sure the cam belt and water pump have been changed or this will be extra cost for you.
In terms of fuel consumption, I found...
