I took it to a local specialist who wanted £20 to drain some engine oil...then I took it to Kwik Fit (I know) and they did it for free which was good of them. Before I had been running with oil level above the max for about a week, seemed fine though...power felt same, no james bond style...

I'm easy, up to Rich really...I was planning to go up and see him tomorrow (Wed) but we could still meet up and nit pick eachothers cars. I'd like to see how fast a bluefinned A3 is ^^

Cr*p how can I tell if the oil has got into the cat? I'm planning to syringe it out, don't think I can get under the car to get to the sump plug.

I checked my dipstick today after filling the engine with some oil, after using the dipstick a few times to make sure it was right....it shows the oil level is about 1cm over the max. Any ideas?

I have the dock cable in glove box, I pushed the DIN through the screw fixture im not not convinced this is a brilliant idea as I will be missing a screw...how did everyone else do it?
