I don't have auto lights.

Only when lights off or DLR. I haven't tried it with sidelights, but dash lights up as normal when main lights are on. No modification whatsoever, car is 100% standard.

When headlights are off, or DLR running, my dashboard lights have a mind of their own. Sometimes they're of, sometimes bright, sometimes dim...! Any ideas if this is a setting dependent on how fast I'm driving? I want them on constantly.. Thanks

How can I be sure whether mine is an original G valve installed with the car in 2008, or a revised G installed later? Would your suggestion be as a precaution, to fit a Rev D before remap, or get the remap with the current valve and see how it is?

Rs3kel recently told me that the G valve came on 2008 cars, and then the Revision D was released... I can't imagine the previous owner changing the valve so I'm sure this is what came with the car in 2008. I'm now really confused with all these different answers! If G was the most recent...

I'm in the process of arranging a remap on my 2008 facelift S3 with W8 Performance, and can't work out whether my Diverter Valve needs changing. The valve that's currently fitted says 'G' on it, and I was under the impression that it needed to be upgraded to a Revision D... but I've been told...

AMD quote Stage 1 gains of +40bhp and +52lb/ft whilst Revo quote +54bp and +72 ft/lb. That is a CONSIDERABLE difference between the two tuners. Are they really that different, as if so it seems like a no brainer if so...

I really feel like my 2009 S3 has a lack of torque in Gear 1. It just doesn't pull like the other gears, and torque drops considerably at 6k RPM. Is this normal? My other gears start kicking in around 3k RPM until red line.

Is it possible to change what the lower portion of my dashboard computer says. I would rather it told my something useful, like oil temp, as opposed to what gear it thinks I should be in! Thanks

So I've had my S3 for a few weeks now, and got to be honest and say I've already got used to the power, and it doesn't feel particularly responsive to me. This could possible be due to me coming out of a BMW 135i which was twin turbo and had over 300bhp... I was wondering if the Stage 1 remap...

Thanks. I've read about using a heat gun / hairdryer to make the plastic pliable so you can rub the scratch out with your finger (apparently..!|)

Someone has managed to put a small scratch (about 3/4 inch) on my glovebox! Not happy about this, and it really stands out. The glove box is a textured plastic and I'm finding it difficult to think of a way to hide the scratch as much as possible! Any ideas?
