Thanks for the advice guys. Sorted the PCV myself and the engine light went away after about 15 minutes of driving. Very happy with that. I've now moved to cardiff though so need to find haldex specialist here.

I'm definitely sure it is working again. Before this week, you couldn't put your foot down even in 3rd gear without losing traction. Would just like to know when it's on and not. no real reason haha

I ended up buying it from satnavdvd. Works well But no instructions on how to use or unlock the speed cameras and post codes. Not sure if speed camera works yet as haven't driven past any haha

Yeh it's pricey but Audi always are. Better than the £1700 I got quoted... So today I tested out the haldex in the rain and all 4 wheels driving (as far as I'm aware) so hopefully it was an isolated incident

They want £92 for diagnostic despite the next local Audi asking for £60 and they cannot give a reason for the discrepancy. Well there's a plot twist. Had it read last night and reset the fault code. Seems to be working again today... think I'll still get the oil and filter done to be sure

Is it the pre-charge pump? Still struggling with Audi knowing exactly what to do. Of course they now want to bring it in for a full diagnostic check themselves. becoming a bit of a pain now

Thanks for all of your help guys. I've got the code -v181 haldex clutch pump. Presume this is likely a new pump then? Had the code reset but haven't tried getting the haldex to work yet

That's That's not a bad price. I've just spoken to Southampton Audi. The chap doesn't know what haldex is and so quoted me £1400 to replace the whole system. Stated there is no haldex pump though there is a repair set you can buy for £250. THen got quoted £390 for labour. What was the part...
