DIY -surely it would be easier to adjust the trackrod ends rather than mess on with an airbag? What ever you turn 'off' one end turn 'on' the other. Either way i'd say a specialist.... If you take it to a tyre place or the like they will sort the alignment for around £30 i'd say.

45 offset is fine. The lower the offset the further it will stick out from the centre of the car. So basically the new 18" alloy will sit out 9mm further than the 17" standard. Offset can be personal preference. A high ride height and a low offset can give the impression that the wheels are too...
