Ive had a couple of people mention to me about good service from bridgend audi...must admit ive not had any problem from cardiff audi yet myself...(except for some high quotes) but sounds like your not getting any joy from cardiff so would def give bridgend a try. Tell them that you've not been...

Getting new tyres for the A3 on Friday!

I got mine at a local tyre firm in cardiff. It was cheaper to get them there supplied, fitted, balanced etc... But you can order them from www.mytyres.co.uk and get them fitted yourself. You will need to add on about £12-£20 for fitting each wheel. so if i were you i would phone...

Getting new tyres for the A3 on Friday!

Jjust had 4 of those (gsd3's) fitted last thursday. £420 fitted. Happy with them so far although still scrubbing them in really. good sidewall protections and these road noise seems a lot quieter than the Pirreli PZero's that were on before. they have got a new version out but were a touch...

DSG (Top Gear mag latest take)

goood point - like having different settling for the haldex controller, pushing more power to the back wheels.

DSG (Top Gear mag latest take)

There must be about 100 threads on here with the same discussion over and over again about the pro's and con's of this dsg box. Like dave (h5djr) mentioned earlier at least Audi give their customers the option. And the DSG is certainly a better option than a standard auto, even if its not...

DSG (Top Gear mag latest take)

^^^I agree^^^ - They wouldnt not offer it because they felt 'it didnt give the same driver involment or control as a manual' but then offer it on the TT - R8 or other sporty audi models.

DSG (Top Gear mag latest take)

There is a delay on mine......only really noticed it after i had a petrol auto courtesy car from audi. No delay on that when pulling away....thought it was just the way the petrol engine responded more quickly then my diesel and nothing to do with the auto or dsg......????

DSG (Top Gear mag latest take)

Actually i think id have to seriously consider an alfa brera next time around....love the look of it. The front of the audi's look aggressive but the 159's and Brera's are something else - Loads of character. They look fantastic. Anybody know if reliability has improved on the recent crop of...

    A3 nothing but trouble

I stand corrected - Maybe saying i wanted the suspension of the 1.6 was too much of a generalisation. Of course it would look line a lunar module vehicle with it being so high and of course the body role is far less than on the s-line. Wasnt going to go into too much details about it but the...

    A3 nothing but trouble

Well got car back yesterday afternoon - Cardiff Audi seem pleasent enough to deal with. Rattle from glove box was a loose housing where the i-pod connection had been put in, tightened back up and no rattles last night or this morning. (Will keep and ear out to see if it returns) Cable had...

    A3 nothing but trouble

at least there is a fix for it - sounds really annoying - although it only rattles when driving slowly and at low revs.....which isnt very often. Its the clunking noise underneath wich has me worried...sounds like somthing is loose and is jolted somehow when brake is applied....not good. the...

    A3 nothing but trouble

Funny you guys have mentioned the seat problem - mine is going into the dealers tomorrow due to the same fault. While its there ive asked them to sort the annoying rattle/vibration from the glove box, and there is an unusual clunking noise underneath the car when i apply the brake after ive...

    Difference between sport and s-line

the changes were not huge but enough to set it further apart apart from the look of the sport and justify the extra price...... below are some images of mine from the gallery on here http://audi-sport.net/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=17489
