The car is still on warranty so I could take it to Audi but Im worried they will do more damage then its worth it when taking the seats out and other panels. Worried they will scratch all the plastics, front seats etc when removing all bits.
I know the led is on because I`ve seen the light...
Marked in the picture below is the LED that I need to get to and 3 clips. So as long as there isn`t any bolts holding the panel in place, Im thinking that I might be able to just take the seat out and then pull off one side of the panel where the marked clips are so I will have enough of a gap...
I wonder if I could just "pop off" one side of the panel by the B pillar where the drivers seat belt is. All I need is to slide my hand in as one of the ambient lights is not working but I`ve noticed yesterday when tried to take the panel off that the LED is working but it has fell off from...
I know on B8 coupe you have to remove B pillar seat belt cover, C pillar cover, boot lining on the side and few other bits and trims first. But I found this picture online of B9 coupe with side panel removed and all other panels on the pillars, boot lining etc are still in place:
Hi guys,
Does anyone knows where the wiring from the side assist/ blind spot assist LED in the wing mirror goes? Is it connected to the same plug with the rest of wires from the wing mirror and its all plugged in to the control module in the door or is it a separate plug that is connected to a...
I know now I like the original alloys more... just like you said they are more modern. I think rotors fit older generation better. I`ve seen an old A7 today with rotors and it looked stunning, then I looked at mine and I was like nah...
That`s why I haven`t told my insurance company as I...
Found some pics of B9 A5 with old style rotors. Its not an s-line so the suspiension is not as low as on mine. I've ordered rotors should upload some pics this week.
Too right all I see is Sportbacks around here no coupes... :) In general I dont think A5 is as popular as 4series and C-lass coupe I see a lot more of them. Seems like everyone has BMW these days.
I bought the car last year approved used and it came with the extended warranty already, but good...
Couldn`t find any pictures of B9 A5 with old rotors so learned last night how to photoshop.
Its not 100% accurate but gives me an idea of what it might look like.
Think I like it more than current wheels, what you guys think?
Photoshoped RS grill which has been already ordered so this is...
Thanks guys.
I loved my alloys when I first bought the car, but then went to Audi service the other day and saw B8 A5 on deep concave rotors and I was impressed how nice the car looked. Then I saw A6 with rotors but with high ET number so the alloy looked more flat and I didn`t like the look at...
Hi,
I`m thinking to swap my original 19" Audi A5 s-line alloys to the old style 19" ET33 Audi rotors. Im not a big fan of the new rotors style.
I like my wheels but I think rotors will make the car look more "bad ***"? But then I`m thinking if they will not make my car look older as its an...
Hi guys,
Is it possible to remove the quattro lettering off the RS style grill for example using hot air?
I can`t find any grill that wouldn`t have this badge on.
Cheers.
