Hehehehehe - yeah I had a Peugot 406 1.8 (apparantly an equal car to an S3!) which lasted about 4 hours before dying a death - don't know why they waste their money on clapped out cars, must cost them more in the long run !!!!
Oh yeah and I forgot to mention the best bit....
The front windscreen posts (which are about 2x as thick as my forearm) are exactly in the place you look to your left/right when appproaching a roundabout... in fact they are big enough to obstruct an entire mini roundabout, and a car... you...
From an Audi Dealer: I just dropped the S3 off for a couple of days work and picked up my 1.4TDi A2
First thing is that the car feels surprisingly spacious inside - you don't feel like you're in a small car. So far so good........
Then you go to drive off - I guess because it's a small TDi...

John I think your argument is reasonable about not returning to standard code BUT it does return to standard maps created by/for Audi and the dealer will only see this, not an EEPROM download form an EEPROM programmer.

I just skim read this as I am in the US...
Yeah but I could buy, insure and modify something for that money! And have something to sell at the end.
Instead of being unable to modify, and being tied into the company rules !
Opt out and take the cash. My S3 is a company car and it costs me about £400/month in car tax (with the fuel card) which will only ever go up.
Combine that with the car allowance, and I am spending nearly 9,000/year (after tax) on something which I have to give back. And it doesn't even go...
Cobstar - only problem I had was getting out of the Elise at Manchester airport in a sharp business suit complete with short skirt!
There's just no way you can do that elegantly !
I really fancy the VX220 turbo.. you could always take the badge off the front
Or an Exige ..
The hill I live on though, I don't think either would get down it - even the s3 and the Golf scrape the bottom!!!
Hmmm. Not sure if you remember but ages ago I came round a corner and hit a raised manhole cover, which resulted in a buckled wheel (only doing 40mph!)
It's never quite been right and after getting the wheel balanced again and still getting shake I took it to a dealer, who have had to replace...
I agree about Audi - what annoys me is that although the problems aren't life threatening or anything, it's not the standard of workmanship and quality you expect from a c.27,000 car !
I might go for the leasing company and see if they can opt me out and buy something myself (although that's...
You should claim from them - I know a couple of people who have claimed for damage (although not on a motorway).
One for damaged caused by a speedbump (they came out and measured his car to make sure it was standard height!)
One for a written off Italian sports car (forget which one, but...
Half way to Manchester and my indicators fail
I have now officially had ENOUGH of this car!
What do you think the chances are of either Audi UK, or my leasing company, taking the car back !?
I've had it since September and so far:
<ul type="square"> Coil Pack failure - broke down in...
Calm down guys....
MarkFore posted the link on this site, and others, as he felt it would be of interest to people considering having their cars tuned by either of the companies concerned.
Simon - thanks for the positive(ish ) comments. We do try to be neutral, and if it seems that we try...

I'm sure that fact has nothing to do with why this is suddenly over all the forums where people alligned with some other tuning company(ies) are rubbing their hands with glee and adding fuel to the fire.
