These propshafts have a bearing in the middle which are designed to come apart in the event of an accident.if they didnt no and have tapped the prop from the rear instead of the front when fitting it back on,then it will have pushed the bearing out.they cannot be fixed and a new one will need to...
I guessed it was supposed to do it,why i havnt the foggiest idea.to design a high performance car that chokes up for a couple of seconds when it down shifts is just plain stupid.down shift on the m3 and it put you back into the seat and it was off without any hessitation.not put your head...
Having just owned an m3 competition before this,i would say your gunna have to do a lot to the rs3 to make it turn in better than one of them.the bilsteins have made a big difference though.
Well i take back what i said about the bilstein b16.the old ones i had on my 8p were just plain bad.i needed to get the mss kit off as i found it just too soft without magride.i was going to try the bilstein b14 but there were none in stock anywere.so i bit the bullet and ordered a set of...
Mine are starting to wear too, they have prob only covered around 5000 miles.i had the same problem with my old rs3 8p too.that had continentals fitted.i only noticed when i went to change the wheels and the insides had gone through to the wire.
I had the b16's on my previous 8p rs3.i felt it just ruined the ride completely.too crashy on the softer settings and too stiff on the harder settings.thats why i went with the mss on this car, because i really didnt want to go down the coilover route again.i just think there way too soft without...
If you want a firm ride then the mss is not for you.i have it on mine as i didnt want to go down the coilover route.i have the track springs and they are noticably softer than the standered ones.im going to change them at some point as its really just too soft a ride.
They wernt my first choice either.the wheels i picked first needed spacers so i went with the ultralights as they fit spot on without them.im glad i got these now there on as i really like them.just need to get them pirelli's off now and get a full set of 255's fitted, probably michelins.
My car is black so i went with black wheels.was a bit unsure about them before i ordered them but once i got them on they look really nice.i fitted the mss spring kit at the same time, dropped it about 10mm all round for now and the whole look has just made the car look so much better.
The bolts they sent were silver.they are standered length.i just ordered some 28mm black ones from ebay.i would fit them first and see what you think before fitting spacers.depends on what size tyres your fitting.i just swapped over my staggered tyres for now,but im going to replace them with a...
If the standered springs are too stiff for you,i dont have magride.i fitted the mss track springs and they are noticably softer.just did about a 10mm drop and still clears every speed bump i have gone over.
