A larger intercooler doesn‘t keep things nice and safe. Actually just the opposite: the air going in is cooler, the air coming out is hotter. Therefore, I would always change the downpipe as well. My downpipe doesn‘t have a cat any more, the cat has been moved to underfloor.
I drove an AMG A45 (381 hp) and swapped it last year for a RS3 8V (400 hp). Compared to the RS3, the AMG is a piece of crap. The engine has significant less power, the sound is artifical and only loud (but not good), the sat nav was a catastrophe and the car felt like it has been built for 18...
The biggest punch you get with software. DP, IC etc. provide a little more hp, but the most important thing for me is the thermal relief.
Anyway, the torque is quite impressive with Revo.
Yeah, but I have my driving experience too and I don‘t like the P Zero at all. Compared to the 4S the grip level is truly bad and there is no way to use the Pirelli on the track, unless you are a fan of understeer. ;)
Sorry, I cannot follow. Which Michelin did you install on the RS3? P Zero is already **** on the street and it will be a catastrophe on the track. I drive Cup 2 (track use) and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (street use) on my GT4 and both are excellent, in particular the 4S for regular street use...
