My car has been in to the dealer today and it was a coding issue that was causing the problem which is now fixed - hooray! I'll do another scan of the car when I get it back to show the new coding :thumbsup:

Right, have disabled the security lid lock in the coding, and still the boot won't open unless I use the middle button on the remote - really weird. Will see if there is anything in the adaptation that might sort it at some point. Sebastian, link to the control module maps below as requested...

Quick update - selective unlocking is now working properly - I set it via the DIS (I didn't know you could do this - much easier!). Also looks like you can set the window convienience closing settings using the DIS as well. Will hook up vag-com tomorrow morning to see if I can sort the boot...

Thanks for the info Sebastian - I'll take a look at the security lock setting in the long coding and will go through the adaptation channels. Failing that it will mean a trip to the stealers I think. Will post back if i get anywhere.
