These suffer with actuator issues, changing the actuator won't cause an imbalance just make sure whoever is doing the work has the correct tools for the job as you can screw it up if you don't know what you're doing.
Your car has a 2000 bar pressure sensor. This fault could be a number of things, could even be a faulty fuel pump. But obviously start with the sensor as its the cheaper option, check to see if you have any damaged wires also check for leaks.
If you drive it like that its not going to regenerate, then you'll just clog up your dpf. Regarding the sensor location it seems to be near the high pressure turbo, seems like an absolute pig to get to it...

For the bi tdi engine (CGQB)
The A6 and SQ5 have different part numbers for the intercooler charge pipes, my question is, are they exactly the same or is there a difference?
A6 Part Numbers:
Driver side hose: 4G0145738AB
Passenger side hose: 4G0145709AB...
