    i think it depends bud if it has totally run out then i think yes but if you can still use it but the power is low then no i dont think so but i think you will only need to reprogram the fob thats if you need too.

    if you have a dpf model there not much you can do i had the boxes removed off mine first but not much different and then ended up taking off the dpf

    i had a tip tronic before this and they are good but nothing like a Manuel but to be fare mine only a 2.0tdi but i would stick with manual make a different driving experience
