You're right of cousre. To clarify, there is no adjustment possible, no "abroad" setting in the MMI. But you're also correct in that the beam patttern is still assymetric. It's just the the light pattern (probably because of the sharp cut-offs with LED lights) is accepatbel for driving abroad...

I have a SEAT with LED headlights. There’s no need to change anything for driving abroad (unlike in my A4 with bi-xenon) because of the beam pattern, so I’d guess they’d be ok for LHD and RHD.

Different alloys have different chamfers, and you’ve bought the wrong one. Get in touch with the supplier to discuss.

For the best compromise IMO go for Sport suspension and 18" rims. "Comfort" on mag ride is really not that confortable!

Why would you not run spigot rings? I’m running winter wheels off an A4 on an S3 using spigot rings. Even with spacers I’d not be concerned.

It’s correct that, in order to maintain the warranty on the sunroof, it needs to be regularly serviced - you can check with Audi customer services. I think it’s just a way to avoid responsibility myself, but the rules are the rules.

Noisier alarms are pointless, no-one pays a blind bit of notice. Having said that, the alarm on my S3 is plenty loud enough, much more so than on my A6 C6.
