Did anybody manage to get the auto dipping mirror when reversing who didn't have the factory fitted folding mirrors? I was reading on here about somebody trying it but I can't find anywhere where they have posted the results?

I changed the paddles on my mk6 golf gti for some Matt solid aluminium ones from osir, they were amazing quality, nice and heavy with good feedback. It's not a big job but the airbag removal can be a bit fiddly and it's like defusing a bomb trying to unclip it when it's right next to your face...

Those MY16 paddles look identical to the ones I had in my 8P S3...

Where do you stand with picking up the car though? Could the dealer force you to pick it up? Or can you decide when you want to pick it up? I'v got the same build week as the OP and I'm picking mine up as soon as it arrives but I'm going to push for an "incentive"

Does the SD Nav system (none tech pack) still show route guidance info in the DIS like the 8P does?

Are they aluminium effect or actual metal? You might be able to claw some money back selling them on. Car mint aswell mate, really nice. Looks good with the privacy glass, compliments the BP

You'll have to get some pics up of the mirror caps when they're fitted. They look sweet.

Yeah either the start stop location or one of the buttons on the control panel for a feature you don't have - possibly one that has an led indicator on it like the auto start/stop. That way you would have an indication of what mode it was in - it will take a bit of bastardising though to get it...

I had the Evoms intake on my 8P S3, it was brilliant. Not sure if they do one for the 8V though
