Chrome trim and those wheels are very underwhelming, don’t do that car or colour justice.

Thanks! Does it need blended at all or is it a case of just masking up all the bits I don’t want and going for it with it being clear? I don’t want an obvious line where I’ve masked up.

Looking on amazon E-Tech alloy wheel lacquer gets good reviews, anyone had any experience? It’s such a small area I need to cover.

My A3 diesel tips cleaned up easy regardless of how long I went without cleaning them. My S3 tips need wiped down weekly at least to keep ontop of them otherwise they’re a b*tch to clean. Dunno if it’s diesel vs petrol fuel or what, but something coming out the exhaust that is different.

Y yea I got away with it slightly, most of the damage is actually on the underside lip not the face. If anyone has any advice on making it slightly better be much appreciated . I won’t be getting it refurbed for that, the wheel never quite looks the same and it really is only a small graze

Did that didn’t I, what a b**lend. First damage to a wheel ever, gutted. Got distracted in a storm coming out of McDonald’s and boosh, mounted the outside kerb, lucky it wasn’t worse really, tyre protection really tried its best. Ah well, sh*t happens.

Ah thanks for that, nevermind, maybe on the all new A3/S3. I like CarPlay kind of but I can’t be doing with plugging it in every ride so I don’t use it, shame really. Gues it may be a reason to get the next car :tearsofjoy:
