For me, speed is not the factor that determine when 2 cylinder mode cuts in, its down to the revs. Anywhere around 1500-1800 mark, it'll kick in. Lower than that, it won't. I can be driving at 30mph in 4th and it's on the borderline and I can feel it transferring between both modes. Have to say...

Thought you had to remove the calliper to remove the brake pad?

Can anyone direct me an idiots guide to remove the front brake calliper? I have a foreign object stuck in the brake pad creating a lovely score mark on the disc!! Thanks

I also got them to price match the 4-wheel laser tracking with a local garage. So may be good also getting some prices as no doubt they'll try and get some money out of you for that as well!

I have a 6mth old 1.4 COD and have thought the same thing. Sometimes it feels like the engine is 'bobbling' about under the bonnet when its idling. Even lifted the bonnet and had a look, but the engine was gently vibrating on its mounts. My thought was that the revs were dropping too much, but...

That's what I thought.....only to find a scratch on the alloy following tyre change. Luckily I had taken a photo before so they couldn't really argue!!

Had a chat with the garage, who said that it should be covered as its only 2 1/2 mths old. So, earliest warranty appointment date is start of July. Still unsure how big of a job it is?

Had this the other day. My boot wasn't fully closed. It was shut and looked shut but was only on the first latch. Opened and shut it again sorted the issue.

Quite interesting earlier.... Dropped the car off to get the jerkiness investigated ( 1.4 COD ) and was talking to the dealer about the facelift model. He was all 'I don't really know anything'. He did mention that xenons come standard but when I said about the LED's are standard on the S-Line...

Well spotted, the info released on 4th and currently on the Audi media centre has the (standard on SE Technik and above) omitted.

Unknown at present, but the SD nav is for the 'lower' res screens. Now the 7" screen appears to be standard, wonder if the option for the SD nav remains, or it'll have to be one of the aforementioned navigations if you want it?

The release from Audi said optional MMI navigation and MMI navigation plus. Be a shame if there isn't some form of satnav as standard, as a lot of cars nowadays has one. You would expect a car >25k would!!
