Pretty sure that's not the case with the S4. If you Google it, you'll find lots of links to apps (which seem to require rooting of the phone) to enable USB Mass Storage mode.

Are you sure that your Samsung can be seen as a mass storage device? My S4 can't when I connect it to a computer, apparently it's a restriction in the Samsung firmware. If that's the case with yours, then you won't be able to play music via USB.

Mine displays art just fine. You need to keep it to a certain size (pixels and kb), and make sure there is only one album art, but it works perfectly.

Not sure, it's a long time since I set the parameters, which were originally to make Sonos display the art. I just reduced the pixel and kb sizes according the Audi spec, but left everything else the same. Thanks for the tip though, I'll check it later...

Mine is the same. You are correct that iTunes stores the artwork in a non-standard format. However, I have changed it to the supported format, as well as resizing all the images to the specification Audi says will work (using Bliss), but it still only reads the correct artwork half of the time...
