No mate, I’m living proof that in most parts of this country where at worst we might get a few inches of snow you don’t necessarily NEED winter tyres. IF we had proper winters like some countries then winter tyres and/or snow chains are essential. I’m not offended that you choose to use...

Oh? On the odd occasion that we’ve had any decent snow I’ve often driven up and down steep hills. Drive according to the conditions, nothing scientific.
