Thanks Rob, after much research including readin your link, i opted for a dose of WD 40 into the latch followed by some lithium grease and hey presto...seems to be doing the trick....no more repeated banging of the door to get it closed. Hope i havent jinxed it!!! the only thing i have learned...

anyone encountered this difficulty. the door closes but just doesnt go all the way. have shot some lube into the lock hinge, but seems to be a temporary fix only!!! Any ideas??? thanks

Hi all. have had a faulty one of these on my 2002 avant SE, i've had it out and realise its a new unit required and just a bulb replacement. Have scoured the net and can see saloon units but not the avant version. is there an inherrent difference or would a saloon unit fit the avant? Secondly...

Hi lads, can you tell me is the dog net removeable? i have the boot cover off but the dog net spool looks like its fixed fast to the rear seats , is this the case or can it be removed easily...... had a bit of a push/pull but cant seem to see if it does! any pointers most welcome...serious...
